Welcome to the 13^th International Pharmaceutical Technology Symposium (IPTS 2006), to be held on 10-13 September, 2006 under the joint sponsorship of AIFD, EUFEPS, FIP-BPS, HETEK, H.U., IEIS, the Nagai Foundation, TÜBÝTAK and TÜFTAD.

The IPTS 2006 programme will address the "OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES FOR NANOTECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS". Applications in Drug Delivery, Cosmetics, Molecular Imaging and Nanomedicines will be discussed. Along with the scientific part of the programme, there will also be an exhibition of pharmaceutical companies and laboratory equipments.

We hope that this symposium will bring together the scientists representing various sectors of academia and industry from all over the world, giving the opportunity to experience the excited scientific environment and networking.
